Sea Diamond departs Flamenco Marina early at 8 am, offering guests a buffet breakfast on deck while they settle down to enjoy the trip, keeping an eye out for the dolphins and whales, and curious sea birds. Aft, the fishing lines are set out and hopefully the fighting chair comes into its own as Sea Diamond works proven waters on the way to the islands.
A casual lunch is served on deck. We arrive at our first island, anchoring offshore in the protected waters and the afternoon stretches ahead.
For the more active, the Zodiac Solitarie will drop you off at the deserted beaches to swim or explore, watch the hermit crabs in their borrowed shells and collect coconuts or wild mangoes in season. Alternatively, whale watching might be on the itinerary.
The blow-up inflatable is available to be taken for a spin behind Solitarie, or a guest might like to fully embrace the beauty of the island alone on the kayak. Snorkelling and fishing from the boat are always available.
Others might like to unwind with a book and a glass of wine, play backgammon, chess or Monopoly, occasionally swimming from the platform of the boat in the clear waters.
As the sun is setting, cocktails and snacks are served on deck where guests relate their day’s adventures. Dinner under the stars by candlelight is provided by our experienced and talented chef. All wines, beers, soft drinks, and meals are supplied.
Cabins are private and comfortable, and the gentle rocking of the waves ensures a sound sleep.
